First combat-ready Liberator, built to British specification: nose lengthened by about 3 ft, deeper rear fuselage, wider tailplane, self-sealing tanks and armour. Delivered unarmed; about 75 were requisitioned by the USAAF as the LB-30 and 23 later returned to Britain.
